Job Summary
The position is responsible for Business Development for CDMO business in API Business Unit
Areas of Responsibility
Business Development to bring new business from Pharma & Other Customers in CDMO/CRAMS/CMO business (Drug Substance API and intermediates)
Market exposure - USA, Europe, Japan & Korea.
Understand SUN CDMO offering and target the customers in accordance with services offered by SUN in CDMO space
Creating and maintaining a list/database of targeting customers
Coordination with R&D, Tech Transfer, Manufacturing, Procurement and Supply Chain team for preparation of offer and quotation.
Develop and secure business by generating leads (Requests for Proposal)
Developing customized sales strategies
Creating informative presentations
Attend global exhibitions, conferences and trade shows to meet targeted customers and make interactive sales pitch
Key Account Management of existing CDMO partners
Strengthen Customer Relationships by managing the accounts and establishing collaborative relationships with Key customers.
Track and Manage the deliverables and milestone by coordinating with project manager
Maintain and track all the partner related documents and agreements
Manage the Budgets and Achievement
Collaborating with leadership to secure, retain, and grow accounts
Travel Estimate
This position may require travel to various locations to meet customers and for Business development

Job Requirements
Educational Qualification
- B.Pharm/M.Pharm/Phd in Pharma/Chemical disciplines is Preferred + MBA

Should have the capability to understand and analyse business
Create a culture of good Governance through technology
Relationship Orientation Should have the ability to develop strong and effective relationships with Top Management, Business Functions
Proven negotiation skills and strong presentation skills.

Experience
Handling Key Accounts of CDMO for Pharma
Hands-on experience in Business Development & Sales
Have international travel exposure and attended various Exhibitions for specialty Ingredients & Intermediates.
Experience in handling Market Complaints, Customer Audits
Business Analysis and Market research experience
You should have some knowledge/exposure to Regulatory aspects of various geographies
