Our Brampton location is presently looking for Business Analyst..

Job purpose

The Business Analyst is responsible for providing accurate and timely market analysis and insight to support sales and marketing initiatives. Regular and ad hoc reporting are only part of the responsibilities. The Analyst will also identify and carefully evaluate internal and external business opportunities as they arise, and assume the curator role for all data and dashboards in the Commercial Division. Most importantly, the successful incumbent will have the opportunity to thrive in a dynamic environment, and will be motivated to contribute his/her ideas in a team atmosphere.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Maintain/enhance meaningful and actionable weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reports that accurately capture the needs of Sales, Marketing and Executive Commercial teams

  • Gather market and competitive intelligence to accurately identify and assess business opportunities on a national, regional and territorial level

  • Validate/maintain/enhance Commercial dashboards and databases

  • Provide training to users as required

  • Build and maintain a data repository that effectively collects, stores and reports large amounts of data from various pharmaceutical sources

  • Participate on AI and other strategic teams, as necessary

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Proficient use of MS Excel, Access, Power Point and Outlook

  • A thorough understanding and interpretation of IQVIA data/solutions

  • Adaptable and able to work independently to deliver results

  • Able to quickly prioritize and adjust to a variety of requests from multiple stakeholders

  • Experience with Qlik and AI strategies an asset

  • Canadian Pharmaceutical experience an asset

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills
